delicious latin food

I bought 3 each of the empanada and the square thing (name is too long and too Spanish for me O_O) at the weekend market when I went there to buy some chicken for me for the week and all my fruits/veggies. The avacadoes, roma tomoatoes, kiwi, green onions... everything there was in such good shape. Better than the grocery store, cheaper and you can haggle for deals when it's fair to and the situation calls for it!

I even got some homemade salsa/sauces to go with the pastry pies things I got. My favourite is probably the comumbian beef with potato and herb with salsa (and extra fresh red chili added) :d

I try to eat avacadoes and tomatoes a lot. Some people don't like the taste of plain avacadoes. I can eat them plain but this is how I usually prepare them. Get a lime ready, roll it on a flat surface to get the juices prepped. Cut it in half (mind the pit!), remove the pit (with a little spoon if need be), then cut it in slices, then remove the outer skin/rind. Then squeeze fresh lime juice all over the slices to keep them from browning and for flavour! Then, dash some green (jalapeno) tabasco sauce on them to taste (I like a lot!). After you'll need to make a 'spice mix' to your taste of sea salt, black pepper, chili flakes, a little bit of sugar.. mix that together and sprinkle it on the avacadoes. That's it! I keep a small tupperware container full of my 'spice mix' on hand at all times so I can make this as a quick, healthy snack whenever.
